The fit of running shoes is important to the health of your feet and the quality of your run. There are a variety of shoes available in the Brooks line that offer a range of experiences so you can choose the perfect shoe for the fit, feel, and ride you prefer. Here are some tips:
- You will always want approx. 1/2 in. of space (a thumbs width) between the end of your big toe and the end of the shoe. This often means sizing up your running shoes 1/2 of a size from what your normal size.
- The width can be important. If you've never had a professional fitting, it might be a great idea - especially if you've ever felt shoes were too narrow or too wide for you. We carry many of our styles in Wide and Narrow width options, although colors are sometimes more limited.
- Fit and feel is a matter of preference, and it might take you a couple of tries to choose the right shoe for your perfect run. This is why we offer the Run Happy Promise - to allow you the opportunity to find the best shoe in the bet size.
