Performance running shoes are created with one thing in mind - the run. Designing shoes for running means designing a tread that performs better than any other when moving in a forward motion. Using our shoes for other uses, particularly those involving lateral, or side-to-side, movement, or on indoor surfaces like linoleum or tile, can result in tread separation earlier than the normal functional life of the shoes, which is 300 to 500 miles.
