When creating a Brooks Run Research Collective account and joining for the first time, you will be prompted to connect a wearable device. Begin the connection process by selecting your device manufacturer. You will be redirected to the manufacturer’s website to log in to your account. Once logged in, please approve all Activities and Historical Data sharing. Once the connection process is complete, you will be redirected back to the Brooks Run Research Collective Runner Dashboard.
Which devices are supported?
We currently support Garmin, Suunto, Fitbit, COROS, and Polar devices.
We are working to support more devices for Brooks Run Research Collective. Keep an eye out for email updates as we launch new integrations.
Can I disconnect my device later?
Yes. You can disconnect a device at any time by navigating to Settings > Device Management. If you disconnect your device, you will lose access to Brooks Run Research Collective and will be prompted to reconnect the next time you attempt to log in. Disconnecting a device is not the same as leaving Brooks Run Research Collective or deleting your historical data from Brooks Running systems. Learn more about leaving Brooks Run Research Collective and data deletion here.
Can I connect multiple devices?
Yes, you can connect as many of the supported devices as you wish.
What can I do if my activity data isn’t loading?
If you’ve waited 24 hours since connecting your wearable device and your data has not loaded, navigate to Settings > Device Management and click the disconnect icon at the top-right corner of your active connection. Confirm the disconnect request, then re-select your device manufacturer under "Link a Device" and restart the connection process. Once your device is reconnected, please wait 24 hours for the Runner Dashboard to load your data. If this still fails, please contact our technology partner at team@dashlx.com for troubleshooting.
